The Eastern Veil is one that I have been wanting to capture for a long time, but just never was too happy with my results when I had used my DSLR. But now with an astro camera, it helps to make a huge difference. This was taken 2 weeks ago while traveling along the I-70 in the flat lands before it starts climbing to cross the Rocky Mountain Range.

Jim,

This is very nice, seemingly another step up in your post processing prowess to my eye. very nicely processed, with tight stars, wonderful colors, and great channel separation between the narrowband signals in the nebula. There are so many stars in this region of the sky that is can really overwhelm the nebula - here you have managed to reduce the impact of that while still keeping a very natural look. Really just lovely work all around. Seems like the switch to Pixinsight may be paying some dividends :)

Jim you never cease to amaze me with shapes color and detail. So amazing that you can collect data over multiple sessions and still align them
