The Hummocks

A scene overlooking the North Fork of the Toutle River from along the Hummocks Trail just below Mt. St. Helens. Probably some kind of blasphemy to shoot the scenes looking away from the volcano but it looked like a nice scene so I shot it anyway.

This is a pretty nice photo despite Mt St Helens not being in it.

The thing I like most about it is that this is the toe of the massive landslide that triggered the eruption, Alan. Nice job.
