Oops, it's the Appalachian Trail (the right coast version of the PCT) .

Is this late fall? I like the hints of colors down towards the bottom of the slopes. Looks like you could see a long ways on a clear day.

Thanks! This was taken on October 21st which is, historically, about the middle of the Fall color in East Tennessee. Of course it can vary each year and does from mid Oct to mid Nov, according to altitude.

There are occasional clear days here but the blue haze is a trademark of the Smokies.

This location is a dead-end trail (literally right at the bush on the left) off the Boulevard Trail to Mt. LeConte.
