The Path Outside

I saw Alan's The Path Inside https://focalworld.com/threads/the-path-inside.13907/ and thought I can do a little twist on it, my apologies Alan. :)

This is from my backpacking trip up to Ice Lake Basin in SW Colorado a month ago. This is on the trail to Island Lake. Once I hit about 12,000 feet the wildflowers just turned crazy. This area is actually closer to 13,000 feet then 12,000. I am photographing this while still wearing my backpack, I should have probably taken it off for a bit, but I tend to forget that, not sure why as I am sure my back and shoulders would appreciate a break from time to time. :)

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Great flowers & clouds, Jim.
Sometimes packs feel heavier putting them back on after they've been off for a little bit.

Great lead in lines and beautiful scene. Not to second guess you because your very talented, but do you shoot down low? It sometimes takes the impact from a scene but gives the forground a higher impact. I try to shoot from all levels so I can compare on the monitor. Just my two scents from the peanut gallery.
