Thanks Ann.
In a way there were so many ways I'd wish I had taken this differently. Someone had complained to me once about the streetlamp, but now it doesn't look bad to me at all. Unfortunately, I had one shot that morning, a nippy October day and had stayed overnight in a $200 per night room (very nice) in order to meet my Friends fiance, but wasn't about to do that again..

Hey Craig,

What a really cool shot! I like it with the engineer on the engine with the steam behind him.

I have shot this a couple of times where I went and shot it as it was leaving Silverton just before it heads into the canyon. And then I had already mapped out a route and drove down to about 4 other spots where it got close to the hwy and could be shot, finally culminating as it comes in over a bridge in the middle of Durango. It was kind of a fun thing to do feeling like I was racing the train and getting ahead of it to get into the different positions.
