While much of the West is severely parched, I am fortunate (for the moment) to live in the South Platte Basin in Colorado where we are currently at 159% of median snowpack (286% of last year). While the wildflowers are 2-3 weeks behind due to many late snows, it's melting out quickly as we're hitting 80 & 90-degree days. Down at just over a mile high, wildflowers are starting to look pretty good, but just 2000' higher the pasque flowers are about the only ones out.

They were coming along up in WY (Vedauwoo) before Memorial Day -- should be looking pretty good now.
