Neat - just enough foreground to get a sense of where you are and scale. It almost looks like the light cloud layer helped you out a bit to filter the moon and isolate the planets.

Nice celestial view, shows we are part of the (big) inter planetarium picture, (believe it or not).

Thanks. Yes, there was a bit mist and little bit of clouds. They formed a corona around the bright celestial bodies.

The picture is a sort of hdr. It's made of four shots. Foreground:10sec, sky: 5sec, the Moon: 5+1+1/20sec exposures.

Hey Matti,

Great work here. You certainly put the pieces together well as this would have been an impossible shot I think to have gotten with just 1 shot. Is there frost or snow on the trees? The WB of this is awesome, and really works well with the image.

It's frost. We had around 24 hours of thick fog and temperatures were around - 4 to - 10 degrees celsius. By morning, everything was covered by ice crystals.
