Three Brothers reflections in the Merced

I posted the digital shot earlier.
This was taken about 2 hours later on Portra 400 with my plastic 4x5 (shown),
which only weighs 2 1/2 Ib with a film holder.
This is probably twice what the light meter weighs 🤔
This makes it easy to shoot some film if I feel like it w/o a heavy backpack.
The Toyo "kit" with all the lenses is probably 20+ pounds
I like the warmer tones of the late day AND the lack of CA from the lens

Love it Dan! That's a great image, and I also really enjoy seeing the 4x5 you are using.

Old school meets new school. That's a pretty lightweight 4x5. Do you have bellows type adjustments for shift and tilt with this?

Nope, it's a fixed length with a helicod for a lens mount. Gives me about 4-5mm of movement.
This works for the 90mm which is my nominal wide angle. Has about the same FOV of a 24-28.
I typicall use f/16 or f22 so DOF just about right.
I'm making a separate cone extension for using my 150 (50) which would be a "normal"
While it's lmited, it covers a lot of what I shoot.
The days I want the whole 4x5 kit, then it's the Toyo and a backpack.
A good compromise.
