Ken, I really like the vertical and horizontal compositions of the same scene in the first and second images—that idea is on my list for a future Thursday’s Task. The North Yorkshire image with the lone tree and the light rays is my favorite.

Dan, I just want to say the Mono Lake sunrise is a killer shot, I have not had the good luck getting this type of clouds yet.

Dan, the lenticular image is striking and the Mono Lake image is beautiful and well executed—and my favorite. I like your composition in the B&W Coyote Valley shot too.

Just be patient. That was & is my best nuclear sunrise. I happened to get up early enough to see it begin.

John, as we were shooting the races, noticed the clouds start to form. Unfortunately, only had the telephoto kit w/me & a pano-stitch with a long lens doesn't work well.
So the iPhone came to the rescue.
