Great start to a wonderful topic. Lots of possible candidates, but settled on this one from quite a while ago - gotta love that unique Colorado weather :) I think this was one of my first shots with my then new Canon EFs 10-22 on my Canon 40D, shot 5 minutes from my house. Needed the full wide angle to get it all in!

I'll go with a distinctly different stormy weather view with winter storms along the Pacific coast. It's rare to get a long range view of the serious storms as the mid winter storms tend to pretty much envelope the views. What you do get are highly enhanced wind and wave opportunities.
