Sorry for being a little late on this one. I have been running around getting ready for our trip to CA for Christmas.
This one is to post a "Roadkill' image." A "roadkill" is an image that you can shoot from the side of the road. No walking, no backpack no nothing.
Mine are from New England which seems to have more of these types of images than any other state.

This one is obvious.

Joe Kayne and I took this image from slightly different perspectives. This is the toughest roadkill I have ever taken. This was in a ditch alongside a very busy road. The color was great, so leaf peeper busses were constantly driving buy and making the leaves sway a lot. Every time I thought it was ready, another bus would come by and make the leaves sway in the breeze again. We spent over two hours there before I captured this image. I shot an entire roll of film and got two or three that weren't' rocking and rolling.

Birches near Gorham, NH. I had to walk ten feet for this one.

I had a wonderful snowy/sleety spring day driving up Zion Canyon with my tripod in my lap and tele-zoom attached. My wife was driving and I'd direct her to pull over when ever possible then move just a bit (as I would do on foot) to frame up the subject. Mostly shot from the front seat with the window rolled down.

I envy all of the places you have been, Monika. Wonderful series. I assume you are on a well packed streambed otherwise that doesn't look passable. The lone horseman evokes all kinds of emotions. Great job

The road in to the highlands was mostly from volcanic flows and ash.
