Trailside Weeds

While I was out walking yesterday on a greenbelt trail I came across some low lying plants in the shade that had some pleasing shapes so I grabbed some shots. I do not know the name of the plant but when I showed it to my wife (the household gardener) she let out a shriek and made it clear that this was an abominable weed that she would rip out of the ground the moment she saw it if it were at our house. I still think it has some cool shapes anyway.

Canon 5DMkII 590nm with channel swap and lots of PS pixel bending with Topaz toys.

good one Alan, I like the shapes and the colors you ended up with here.
Nice shapes and colors. Weeds or otherwise.
Wow.... this looks too cool to be a weed! Very nice work Alan.
Thanks for the comments - I still like the shapes in this plant in spite of my wife's antagonism towards it and I did like how it rendered in IR.

Salmon Creek is less than a mile from my house as a crow flies so anything growing in the greenbelt floodplain spreads around our neighborhoods with ease. Everything up here grows like weeds so calling something a weed simply means you didn't want that plant in your garden.
