Tule Elk at Pt Reyes

I haven't done wildlife shooting in quite a while, but couldn't resist on this hike at Pt. Reyes this weekend.
There was a large herd (harem?) about 50 yds from the trail that seemed non-plussed by the human traffic. Shot with a Sony A7R and Canon FD 400mm w/TC. Without AF, had to figure out how to set up quick w/tripod.
