Twilight at Wind River Range

A quick upload as I am up in the Wind River Range in Wyoming but needed to drive out a bit to get reception so I could double check the weather forecast for tonight.

This is from my campsite on dispersed camping on the Bridger National Forest from 2 nights ago. I have been shooting the Milky Way along with Deep Space Astro and I squeezed in an 8 mile hike with my backpack for conditioning and scouting. Tonight looks to be clear, and I have 2 spots picked out for the Milky Way. One will have some old cabins in the foreground. So hopefully the clouds in the sky now will clear up as promised by tonight.

Clouds can be overrated. with the Belt of Venus to help out, I had really pleasant color in the sky.

Yeah, I like Wyoming. I have been to every corner of Wyoming as I have been going there for 30 years, I just have never taken the time to stop at Wind River. I have driven by here so many times in a rush to get to Yellowstone or the Tetons.

Sorry, just the Wind RIvers. We drove through from Dubois to Sheridan. Way less people it seems.
