Good to see a fresh post from you, and this is a great way to get back into the swing of things. It could also fit in the abstract forum.
Thanks Ben! "Fresh" is a relative terms I guess, ha. But I suppose since most of these have never seen the light of day past LR they are new (and yeah, I've been pretty stale in posting lately

).
Def on the abstract side!
It may be abstract but its also part of the landscape. And a very nice looking one at that. Reminds me of interesting grain patterns on a nice piece of hardwood.
Thanks Alan! So much grainy striation goodness that I'm afraid I'm gonna have to cull super hard or else I'll come away with 45 "almost-the-same" pics.
The glow is great, did you capture any with more of the round fin in the upper right?
Thanks Bob! Unfortunately just above the fin there was some distracting superblue skies.
That's awesome to hear Jeff, you have been seriously missed over your Christmas break.
(You will need to go see the Street photography shot I took too)
Gah, you are right! I have not been over there yet, but totally need to. I hit up my Street buddy to see if he could give me a "tips and pointers" list that I could post up.
I like the gradients of light and color here, quite an abstract feeling. Nicely done!
Cheers, Barry - thanks for the feedback!
Jeff
