Waterfall in the Sky

A few weeks back I drove through the Palouse on my way to Mt Rainier. I almost met with @Aaron Cowan, perhaps next time!

As I set up at Sunset and waited for the Milky Way to appear, I liked how it kind of mimicked the waterfall, so much that it seemed like a Waterfall in the Sky.

This is 2 shot pano as it was so dark out with no moon. The ground is a 2 minute exposure at ISO 1600 and f2.2 and I immediately switched to shooting the Milky Way at 25 secs ISO 3200 and f2.2.

One thing you might want to think about is softening the horizon line just a little. That would make the blend look a little more natural.

I appreciate that Kyle, I had a similar thought too, so I will need to go back and work that horizon a bit more.
