Happy Wednesday - time for another round of waterfalls.

My offering for the day is the primary falls at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon - the South Falls. This is a 3 shot panorama using the shift feature of a 24mm TS-E lens.

Add your own waterfall/water feature images if you have some to share.

Wish I knew what this set of falls looks like now. Maybe we will get to find out next summer if they open up the old highway by then.
I am thinking that some of the green will pop back fast in the spring, it's amazing how fast some things regrow or new plant life grabs hold and grows in old. But I think it will provide for some unique views. Using other burn locations I have driven by like in Yosemite, the trees will stand bare for a long time, but the surrounding ground brush will grow back fast. I am looking forward to seeing it to. I bet the area will be an even greater madhouse this spring when they open it as people rush in all at once to view what's left.

ODOT says they might open up the road between the Women's Forum viewpoint and Bridal Veil Falls but they haven't set a date yet. That was in this morning's paper. No trails will be open yet and Shepperds Dell remains closed due to falling rocks.

Such a busy day -- I'd forgotten it was Wednesday! Here's another from Zion the other week. It's the 1st obstacle up Orderville Canyon. A bit deep to get over this one, then the flows were pretty low. Lots of "almost" compositions -- a bit earlier in the year & the foliage would have been quite nice, but when I was there it was pretty scanty.
