Waterfall Wednesday 2/1/2023

My starter falls for today is Elowah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge from a visit last week. This a median blend of 7 shots in burst mode. I tried using a slower shutter speed to see if I could get a single shot exposure with good water textures but there wasn't enough light on an overcast day for that to really work out. Much nicer water flows than what I saw on a visit last summer.

I never cease to be amazed at just how much color is left over from the year before with scenes like this. I hope you get a chance to catch this in full colors next year. Looks fantastic as is here.

I would imagine these falls are in full firehose mode after the rains this past month. There is still something to be said for lower flows with more delicate features.
