My falls for today are from a small scene at Merriman Falls along the South Shore Road near Lake Quinault. This place is just off the road and has lots of fun small scenes like this one that offers new views with each season. This is from a fall visit.

Whoa - that's a really heavy flow for that river and almost redefines the extent of the waterway. I love the greens.

Wow - what a wonderful collection of cascades. Bummer about the shooting conditions but I'm glad you braved the elements to capture this scene. Do these falls continue in less adverse weather or are they only this full during deluge conditions?

The cascades are permanent but usually only 1 of the lower ones and much less water. A couple of miles before this on the same escarpment a waterfall was getting whipped off the top and blowing backwards uphill but I couldn't find a place to stop so no image. Ken

Currently still closed. Here's the latest

• Yosemite National Park will remain closed through Thursday, March 16—possibly longer. A partial reopening on March 17 is a best-case scenario.

Nice looking falls. You did a pretty good job with the bad light for this image.
