Waterfall Wednesday 9/27/17

I am going to start off today's pile-on with some water features along Edith Creek in Mt. Rainier National Park. The highest part of the creek is called Edith Falls and is easily accessed via a 400mm lens:

Closer to the trail is a small set of rapids with some nice details:

And finally a set of falls named Myrtle Falls:

Add whatever waterfalls you have if you want and thanks for looking.

Thanks for starting this thread Alan, I have a Myrtle Falls shot in my collection too. But today I will be showing yet another Bridalveil falls. This one in Provo Canyon Utah.

Sol Duc Falls, from just downstream from the bridge. (Tim claimed it was a 'secret spot'! )

Alan, your Myrtle Falls pic is magical! Congrats on that one! Here are two more NC waterfalls. Both are easy to reach and fairly well known. The first is Whitewater Falls that, by NC standards, is a larger falls--411 feet I think--one with higher water, the other with low water and less than ideal fall color. The second is small but scenic and called Schoolhouse Falls.

Nice set - I like the fall version of Whitewater Falls - the water might be low but the resulting water flows are more delicate and I like any flavor of fall colors

That's a lot of water coming down. I can imagine spending a lot of time wiping off my lens shooting that.

An interesting thought for a thread - what would we get if we had one that featured only falls named Bridal Veil Falls? I would be curious to see how many different ones there are.

I like the way the falls break apart into waves of falling water in this. The rainbows in the spray add a sense of mystery to the scene. Nice.

This is from a trip to Olympic National Park some years back. I am not exactly happy with the shutter speed, but I was in my beginner days at that time.
