West Coast Sunrise + Edit

Dragged my butt out of bed this weekend to go catch a sunrise along the northern side of Laguna Beach, meeting up with a fellow photog and checking out a section of Laguna Beach that I'd never been too before. Turns out this is a pretty nice spot at that time of the morning.

These are awesome John! I especially like that pour off with how it looks in #2. I look forward to getting back to California so I can check this place out.

Laguna Beach really amazes me, no matter how long I have been shooting there it seems like every year or two there is a new location there that pops up.

Neat pair of images. The second one with the wider view of the scene and better view of the morning colors is the one I keep going back up to look at. I like the water action in that one a lot.

Good call, thanks! That's the native image size and aspect, a simple crop to 8x10 ought to do that nicely as well as set it up for printing.

The 2nd is much better, what Kyle sad, and 2 small things that jump at me, its the bright stone at the bottom left, and the dark pool at the bottom right.

OK, I'll pile on but I also like the second one better. That pour off looks a bit more natural to my eye and I like the composition just a tad more. Both are wonderful.
