Dano Grayson's Elephant Head Pond, Amado, Arizona. Easy photo as Dano is an expert at handling snakes.
I have seen maybe 10 during hikes in Arizona.

Good shots of these guys. Nice time for a good telephoto lens and enough empty space to keep my distance. I did encounter them in the desert around Phoenix growing up but fortunately not often and we were taught early on what they were and what they could do.
