That OOF foreground is really hard to avoid in a wooded environment. I think it's blurry enough to not be much of a distraction. The only thing I think I would do is to clone out that thin branch that is running down and cutting across part of the deer.
Great color and wonderful pose. The OOF foreground stuff is, as stated above, really hard to avoid. So yes, remove that one small branch coming over the back of the deer is all that is needed to make a great shot even better.
Tom I agree with cloning out the branch and I was in two minds about the next comment until I saw the title with watercolor in it. I don't like the effect as it removes the texture in the fur and makes the image look slightly oof especially noticable in the head. Similar images in your SmugMug site are far superior or at least they are to me but your image, your vision, your processing. Ken
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
