Window Blinds at Second Beach

Early morning at Second Beach in the Olympics in Washington, isolated view of one of the sea stacks. The stripes of colors and reflections reminds me of looking through window blinds. Probably not the best title ever...

Is this the nuclear sunrise you and Carlo shot?

I like this result - the reflection area with the low tide is perfect for this and the soft waves add a nice accent.

I use really creative titles like "Second Beach Sunset" so don't ask me!

Hey Alan,

I had to go back and check the date on this, so yes it was. The reason I had to look is I had gone the previous morning and also had gotten some super cool sunrise shots, but no one else was with me because everyone else was sleeping in with hangovers from the Wine Martin had provided. Or it could have been food poisoning from the Marmite or something that Ute was trying to feed everyone...

Really sweet catch, Jim! It's amazing how much color can pop up in the anti-twilight of dawn, and you caught a winner here! Especially love the wet sands reflections.
