Thanks, Doug for covering my Winged Wednesday. Regrettably, there are nights and mornings when I am debilitated with sever headaches from an autoimmune disease and today was one of those days. Enough of that. My contribution to today's Winged Wednesday is an Egyptian goose coming in for a landing. Usually, cameras have a hard time focusing on a bird flying directly at you. My Sony a9M2 grabbed focus and I got 10/10 frames in focus.

Fantastic images. Not much of a bird photographer - I do dabble once in a while. This was taken several years ago near the Nooksack river near Mt Baker in winter where eagles come to feed on salmon. I had a big white 500mm back then (which I since sold because I wasn't using it enough).
