Winged Wednesday 7/22/2020

If you like great blue herons, this Winged Wednesday is for you. Spent Monday morning on a boat on Lake Mary, Coconino County, Arizona. However, I did take 1500 photographs but kept 10.

Great blue heron landing near some Snowy Egrets

Great blue heron dining on a crayfish. We called 'em crawdads when I was a kid. I member catching them in traps baited with chicken trimmings.

This is actually a recent shot that I went out to get just for this thread about 2 months back,. Very slim picking in my neck of the woods.
