Thanks Eric, It took me a long time to learn that it takes 1/300 second or faster to freeze the vibrating beak during song on these fellows.

I was asked how long I've been photographing birds. I said about 20 minutes. LOL, Most of my photos are 1/1250 to 1/3000 sec

For the fourth “Winged Wednesday,” I have selected one of my all-time favorite photos; a Red-tailed Hawk. Watching the red-tailed hawk flying low and banking closely in front of me was one of the most elegant natural phenomena I have ever experienced.
