Winter or Fall

I had to go back to 2016 for this picture! I had vacation planned but before this trip I had other plans with someone before I would leave for my fall adventures in the mountains but when I hear it was going to snow I broke my plans and off I went! It was the same year I meet Jim in SW CO and I have learned so much since then!

It certainly was great meeting back then Alisa, and you have grown so much as a photographer since then.

I like the snow and fall color combo here. That's a pretty good coating of snow too. As much as possible I like to have snow to contrast with the fall colors.

I love the light on the aspen here and the contrast with the snow is nice visual treat.

Early snow while the aspen are still in color is a great combo.
