Winter over Las Vegas

Good morning all. I shot this scene last year on Mount Charleston, about 30 minutes from Las Vegas. It is a typical winter scene, but when you live in Las Vegas, this is really exciting! I am hoping we get some more snow up there this year. Looking forward to seeing all of your upcoming photos this winter.

I was surprised that mountains like this were in the area a few years back when driving by this range. I like the sun peeking through the clouds in this image.

A shot like this feels like it would be at complete odds with the idea of Las Vegas! How amazing that an image like this was taken so close to there. I do like the sun and how you worked it in the scene.
