I like what you got here. How much planning went into being at the right spot with the right lens at the right time for this scene was involved?

Hi Alan,
Planning..roughly 10 minutes...I knew where I wanted to be, I just had to make sure where the moon is going to come up. I tried this shot last year but clouds moved in and the moon didn't show till it was much higher up in the sky.
The app has all the info, what time/where/how high it'll be etc

Super cool Sunny!!! You got the wolf!!! I shot it out here on the way up to Joshua Tree, but it was really pretty dark and the hills I think will have lost too much detail. Shooting it with the city is great idea.

Yea it was fun ...there were about 50 people there, good way to make new friends

Every part of this image is beautiful and very impressive, and I'm not much of a city scape person....extremely well done!
