Yosemite B&W

After going through all the images from recent Yosemite visit, I looked at which ones would benefit from B&W.
I had thought about shooting some B&W film at these scenes, but intentionally limited my kit to a DSLR & a Mamiya 7 w/color
My Mamiya RB67 was a choice as it uses interchangeable backs, but that kit is pretty heavy
Hey, it was the limit I could carry with my Cotton Carrier harness!
There's always next time

I love the dramatic views in all of these - good call on selecting these for B&W. Not gonna pick a favorite - these are all good.

I think you made the right choice Dan. You have some really nice B&W conversions here. I think #2 is my favorite.

Nice classic shots. #2 for me too. In Silver FX, my preferred converter, I would try a red filter on all of them to darken the sky and lend more drama to the clouds.

That's actually the tool I use! I also use it when I process B&W film for "contrast control"
