Made my reservations when the forecast looked favorable, but that's how it rolls.
Three days in the park yielded, Sun-no clounds/Mostly Cloudy till noon/100% rain.
So you go with it. Did about 5mi of snow shoeing!

Alan, it was conditional on the storms. Hwy 120 was sketchy due to snow fall that night and was R3. it was R2 in the park
Highway 140 was clear & R1. But do to previous fire, the erosion was an issue. Lots of rock falls along. They shut it down 3:30 yesterday to manage it. I had to slalom through at least two of them. Highway 41 was shut down a few times too

You get what's there the you get there. #1 rule of nature for shutterbugs like us. Nice imaging under the circumstances.

Hey Dan,

Your dates were too early for a good looking Horsetail Falls anyway, so this turned out in your favor. I sure like all of this snow.

My favorites are #1 and 6.

I am hoping to get up there next week, I am watching the weather now and will run up there when I see a pattern I like.

Love the set, with the 1st image being a particularly well executed abstract.

Hey Dan,

I really like #1. The ripples and dappled light work well together. My only quibble is that the brightest spot is at the top of the frame, so I'd look at burning that down.
