I totally believe it John. On more then one occasion I have gone back home to process one of my DSLR photos to look like the one I took on my iPhone.Thanks guys. Would you believe me if I told you it was an iPhone special? Although I used a different camera app that captures RAW files which I then processed like normal.
I also shot this with my Nikon D7100. I processed the Nikon first and loved it. Then I processed this one and loved it even better. The phones still have their shortcomings, but it's pretty impressive what you can do with them these days.

Well, this isn't an iPhone jpg, it was a fully processed (by me) RAW file taken with the phone. It's just amazing how good the quality of photo you can get nowadays with the phone cameras now that you can extract the RAW files. They have their limitations, but they absolutely are capable of some excellent work, especially for landscape where depth of field isn't so critical.I totally believe it John.
