Wow - wish they would stay put and pose for me like this. Great shot.
This was on a small island in the Spokane River that could be reached when the water was low. I always heard them, but after several visits had never seen them. You can walk right under one and not see it. There was usually 2 or 3 in the area.

That is so cool Ben! I think I saw and shot an owl once.... I think it was in Alaska. But it never looked as good as this. Well, I don't think it didn't since I never really processed any of my images from that Alaska trip,:eek: but in my mind it doesn't look as good as yours. :)

Hi Jim, it makes a difference when you know they might be there and you go prepared for it. You should process them never know what it might be. I just wish I had my current camera and lens back then. The high iso makes hand holding so much easier.
