I hesitated to show this, It was my plan all along to show it this week, but then I see so many other Zebrowski Point images here currently and all of them far less saturated than mine.

I even looked at the raw, and sure enough it looks like the ones posted. But raws are not real either and in my mind's eye, this is what I recall.

CC appreciated, and if you want to expand about realism versus artistic licenses, feel free. I am sticking to my guns, but really appreciate other opinions.

I think that your work on this is inline with what i've seen, but that really doesn't matter. I'm interested in making great images that I like and we post here to see if others agree or disagree, were not necessarily documenting the truth:) Art is equivalent to personal perception, btw nice image Ben...

Thanks a lot for these words Zeph. I have seen forums get locked into a particular style and hope that doesn't happen here.

Yep, some saturate more than others , but so what. Different artistic tastes.
I like this. Killer view and I'm jealous of the sky you had. Both times I've been able to go there the skies were bare naked!!!!

Yes, I did get lucky on the sky that morning. Thanks for your comment, much appreciated.

Hey Ben,

I like this. And if it means anything I think I would have processed it the same way as you have it here.

I like the range of color and soft light.

Very nice, Ben. This looks right to me for the time of day you are taking this image. I have been there dozens of times and it is eating me up that I am not home to post an image. I’ll do it when I am back next Thursday.

Definitely like this. I have a similar composition and likely a tab bit more saturated, albeit with a less interesting sky.
Looks fine to my eyes. Nice cloud color show BTW.
As you might suspect, I don't think it's overly saturated at all but the only opinion that matters is your own. Nice work.
Looks good to me. Now I've gotta post my own, with similar or more saturation!

Thanks all for the replies and glad some of you posted your own. It's fun to see the various ways the same place can look in different light and from different perspectives.

Ben, this is completely perfect in terms of sat to my eyes. Instead of smashing us in the face with exaggerated color you are bringing out the subtle beauty and shifts presented in the scene.

My nit is that while I am 110% sure that you were 100% level on this shot when you captured it there appears to be a CCW lean going on. This is case to where I think a slight rotation is in order even if that is not exactly how the scene was in person.

Thanks Jeff, I will take a look at it, not much in the way of visual clues here, but I know you to have a very discerning eye.
