I have not been out to a C&O event in several years...but went this morning...it has gotten huge...easily 1000 cars...it had to be...it filled so much of the mall parking lot...I could have stayed longer but had other early obligations, so I only had about 2 hours.

Hey Travis,

These are really cool images. You really nailed using limited DOF, and the look of each photo is fantastic!

The bad news is, one of the first Contests I was going to run was going to be a Post your best 50mm image... but by the look of these you will have won before the contest even begins!

Thanks Ben. Just a classic BMW engine, in very clean condition. I was drawn to the red plug wires.

I had to make the most of my time! It was fun, but after about 2 hours, it is so crowded it becomes too many people for me!

LOL Jim! I love my 50mm lens...I have tried to live without one, but can't. It is probably my favorite focal length for just about anything, from car shows to portraits and I even use it when doing architectural work.

I assume you are referring to the 911...and yeah, a good 911 is my #1 dream car...given a choice of any car on the planet...for me it would always be a 911.
