Moody Yosemite + Update

Once a year I like to take a trip for my birthday. Last year was Iceland, this year a road trip that took me from Death Valley to Yosemite. This was my first time in both locations and wow. Beautiful! Here is one from Yosemite and the firs edit of the bunch! CC welcome!

Nice moody scene. I like the hint of detail behind the fog/clouds and the light on the foreground. I do think I'd like a little more of the grass on the bottom.

I would echo Kyle’s thought on the lack of foreground, especially with the side light contrasting with the misty mountains.

Thank you all for the comments. I will go back and look to see if there is one with more foreground. I know I took several shots of this and this image happen to have the lack of foreground, it wasn't something I cropped out.

Definite improvement with the update. Giving that patch of trees more space feels much better.
