My living quarters in remote places, shown here at Toroweap overlook campground
It's actually as comfortable as my bed at home, once I climb in, and warm too. I can last about 3 days before I run out of ice.Looks a lot more comfortable than curling up into a ball in the back of my Jeep!
It reminds me of the climbers here who live for months out of their vans and trucks.
That is a good setup you have.
Great setup, Ben, especially with that Yetti. Is that four wheel drive?
I am giving that some very serious consideration. Last time I was down in the Colorado Plateau area I was feeling quite constrained in where I could drive to shoot.Tacomas are very good off road, maybe you could trailer it.
Right Jim, I have looked at 4runners and most of that style don't have a flat enough floor even with seats removed. I wish I had a taller canopy and a longer bed, I just barely fit lengthwise. I would start with a Tacoma next time as they are smaller and can get into tighter terrain. But this one works so long as I remain nimble enough to crawl in.Hey Ben,
What a nice set up you have. I have thought of doing something similar in my Grand Cherokee but with all of my measurements I run out of head space with the remaining space being too small to fit anything in. Still... I keep trying to come up with ideas. One day, I might think of something that will fit.
Jim
I know exactly where it will get meEach driveshaft is only four bolts. And, try taking the Tacoma out by itself on a trip. Rough roads go to great places.
