Here are a couple of more shots from Morro Bay and Sea Otter that was having fun in the actual bay area. It was nice to be able to eat some fish and chips and clam chowder and then walk 50 feet to shoot the Sea Otter. :)

All comments are welcome,

Jim

PS. These were shot with my early Christmas present, a Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens.

Wow JIm. Looks like the G2 is a real winner. Great photos. Looks like I'll be adding another lens to my wish list.

Thank you Brian!

I am liking this lens so far. I will probably have it with me when I come through in January, so you can play with it if we get together then.

Awesome ! How did you like Morro Bay ? Any landscape pics coming ? ???
I like Morro Bay, I have been going there for many years. I like Pismo Beach better because they have the best clam chowder in the world there at the Splash Café. But Morro Bay is cool with Morro Rock and the Bay area with all of the restaurants. It sounds like you haven't been there? You need to go. It would make a great day trip for you and the family.

Actually I love that place we went there right after we got married although we've only been back a few times last time we went I got some really nice night shots of Morro Rock I thought I might have showed them to you but I'm not sure

Maybe sometime on a Saturdays we should shoot down the coast and try to hit like all the things we could find between here and Morro Bay, or we could just spend a day going through Los Angeles doing speak photography
