Time to pile on with your reworked images.
Today I will show one I took at Monument Valley a few years back. You can get a great view from the hotel, but it has a road in it. I drove down the road a bit and found a parking place and then walked out to a location that excluded the road but...
In 1997 my wife and I did a 4 island trip to Hawaii. One was the big Island, Hawaii where the volcano had been erupting for a while and lava was flowing to the sea. The ranger said it was best viewed after dark.
After driving to the end of the road where the hike started, we returned to the...
I recently had a new HD installed and reimaged (I was hacked). I re-installed Photoshop and Topaz. Of course, I lost all my presets including legacy preset from older version of topaz which are no longer available. So I had to recreate as best as possible some new presets. I really miss one...
Time to show us your revisited images. Pile on.
I have images of two different covered bridges in Oregon, I know the location of one, but not this one. The dr was difficult, even with newer tools.
This is on Banks Lake, which is just south of Grand Coulee Dam in Washington. Taken with Kodachrome 25 on Oct 1981 and recently digitized using my camera.
On May 18th 1980, Mt St Helens erupted. I lived in Hayden Lake Idaho which is probably 350 miles east of the mountain. By late afternoon the sky was really dark and ash was falling, we got about 1/2 inch of it.
The ash acted as a filter and as it settled in local lakes, it collected particles...
Time to show your old, reprocessed images. Pile on.
Today I am showing a scanned slide from oct 1982 on Kodachrome 25 film. This is probably taken along the Coeur d'Alene River in north Idaho.
Following Alans lead, I set up my Canon R5 with a 35 f1.8 macro lens and two extension tubes, a 13mm and an 18mm. This allows 100% magnification.
I use a tripod and my pano rail to mount the camera. I also have a 4x5 Logan light table to provide the light. I added a slide holder which I taped...
Time to jump in with your revisited images.
I will kick this off with one I took in Mar 2012. This is from Antelope Island looking east toward Salt Lake and the Wasatch mountains. Too much DR for me in 2012.
Time to jump in with your re-visited archive images.
I took this image of the front range of the Wasatch looking across Utah Lake In 2012. There was an over exposed moon at the top so I cropped it out for this rendering.
While imaging the Maze, I saw this scene developing behind me. With no view of the Maze itself, I still liked the looks of this. The camping area is behind all these rocks.
Have any of you done this? Any issues?
I need to get a bigger hard drive, 256GB is marginal for me. I want to upgrade the SSD to 500 GB and do a clean install of win 11 and then reload everything. Time for a refresh.
After that I will probably upgrade Topaz to the latest release.
Time to jump in with your re-visited archive images.
Today I will show an image that I had struggled with in the past, but newer software has made easy.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
