I used to extract stars in the linear stage as well but since switching to the 3nm NB filters I find the stars are a lot smaller and they can handle a stretch without too much distortion

Looking good Jim! Once you get more data you will find the noise levels decrease even further. I find for galaxies 7 to 8 hours is a minimum for me. You should open up an Astrobin account now ! :)
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
