While driving around the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge I spotted this single crane of the side of the road, stopped and grabbed a few shots. The bird was very cooperative and stayed there while I changed lenses!

I was driving along Hiwy 285 in South Park when I spotted this old and very tired looking horse standing on a hill not far from the road. I stopped grabbed a few shots.

There is a small group of buffalo off I70 heading west out of Denver. This guy gave me a nice pose and in great light.

This young mule deer was dashing across a road right in front of where my car was parked. I was sitting on the front bumper of the car watching a group of about 12 deer at Red Rocks Park that was watching me. When another car pulled up and stopped, the deer decided to scamper across the road...

In keeping with my cool images to offset the heat this year in Denver, here is an image taken a few years ago after an early November snow. There was still a few leaves left on the trees showing the gold color, but most are gone! ;)

This Statue was presented to the Church in ST Augustine, Florida in April 24th, 1975 to commemorate the 200 year anniversary of the Minorcan Colony established by Father Pedro Camps in 1775.

A Spring shhot of the east entrane to the Garden of the Gods, taken a few years ago. I like this shot that shows snow on Pike's Peak and soft clouds and blue skies as a background to the red tones on the rocks in the med ground. ;)
