Even more quaint looking is a rebuilt restored wood passage way added to replicate one in the past that now runs between the house and the lighthouse and cost one million to construct.
Thanks Alan. Actually this house is closed each night. Joe Kayne and I got to stay over because my long time best friend was a member of the Kennebunkport Conservation Committee who is responsible for the maintenance of both the house and the light house exterior.
Nice shot Doug. Look at least like the sun was out. I remember when you and I got up in darkness to go get a sunrise shot an we were both bummed out that it was cloudy at sunrise. So glad you got back.
Last Star image for awhile. You are viewing about 1/5 of the total size of the island, just before sunset. Everyone has to go thru a fire drill before staying over night. I think I screwed up posting this image and do not know how to redo Sorry Fred
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
