One of the things I love about autumn in Arizona is that the season lasts from late September through early January. You just need to know where to look! Yesterday, I headed down to the Sonoran Desert north of Phoenix to check out an area I initially scouted out last winter. I was hoping I wasn't too late for some color and was pleased to find out I hit it just about right. Afternoon clouds in advance of an approaching weather system threatened to limit my shooting, but I got lucky when the sun broke through some cracks near the horizon close to sunset. I'll post of few from the outing.
