Bow River Snow Bumps

I took this last January, on a morning where I headed out to capture Castle Mountain at sunrise. As nice as that view was, the best light was off to the east so I grabbed my stuff and made the move. I really liked these bumps in the snow and the way they were reflecting some of the light so I made that my foreground.

Any thoughts are welcome!

Interesting snow contours and nice colors with some mist over the water. And no footprints in the snow. You have checked all the boxes for a neat sunrise shot recipe.

Hey Kyle,

This is really nice looking! Those snow bumps are cool. Good job on being aware of the light/color around you and going to where you could catch it best.

Kyle,
Beautiful Shot ! The bumps make an excellent FG, great comp . I don't think you could ask for more out of this shot .

Love the lights on the 'bumps'! Nicely caught.
I wonder about bringing down the highlights in the sky and river? Just a touch, without affecting the fg or trees and mountains. Just a thought. It's still lovely as is.
