Christian Creek, Grand Teton National Park

I was asked by Jim Fox to post this image above to this website. It's of Christian Creek in the Willow Flats area in Grand Teton National Park. I apologize to Jim and other members for being so inept in my initial attempts to post this photo. I finally gave up on my iPad and used my iMac instead. When I do hit the post button in a moment and if nothing appears, all Focalworld members should just shake their heads and wonder how I am at other daily tasks!

I like the image and hats off to you, I would not have a clue how to post an image from my Ipad, or even how to get one into the Ipad.

Hey John,

Welcome to FocalWorld! :)

Thank you for persevering with the upload. It was worth it as this is a really awesome photo! I don't think I have shot that little pond area before, but it sure looks awesome and I might have to keep my eyes on the look out for it this trip.

Lot's of cool details in this. The water surface, the foreground brush and of course the gold!

Are you located up by the Tetons? A bunch of from FocalWorld are headed up there and will be meeting up over the weekend. If you are in the area it would be awesome to meet up with you too.

No, my wife and I reside in Tennessee. We love visiting the western states and have only visited Wyoming twice. We look forward to seeing more of the beauty of New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming. This website will prove invaluable in my research of places to visit and inspirational in seeing other photographers’ vision of these western wonders.

Thanks John!

We do have some great resources here, and some really helpful people. So if you have questions about a location or suggestions, please ask.

Really nice scene. I am near there for the next few days but am not seeing those golds or the dusting of snow on the peaks.
