Ben the 1st is the nef. straight out of camera, sized to 3000 on the long side & that is all I did other than save as a jpg. Then after I put it here I went & edited my original nef. in lightroom changing it to Adobe Landscape

No idea why it showed CMYK then.

I did several things I set the black and white point which spread out the histogram, I used about 10 each haze and clarity. I added just a taste of shadow highlight, and added some gamma. Then I sharpened, two rounds. One with a large radius small amount and one with about 150, .5.0

CMYK is a color space. I believe it's used in the printing industry. I am not sure how to convert to it, and did not see it as an option in ACR. Maybe we have an expert around who can explain it.

It stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and K is black.

Hey Darcy,

What Color Profile is your camera set to? I would recommend Adobe sRGB

In Photoshop the Color Profile can get changed in the Edit Menu with either "Assign Profile" or "Convert to Profile". Are you selecting either of those? Somewhere you selected the CYMK, can you remember where? Is it happening for all of your photos?

As to Landscape Mode, you shouldn't be applying any kind of presets when you load your Raw photos into ACR. You want to work with the Raw image you took, not your Raw image that now contains someone elses predefined adjustments, which is what you are doing when you select Landscape Mode.

Hey Darcy,

Somewhere you selected the CYMK, can you remember where? ...nope as I never change my color profile :). Is it happening for all of your photos?.... nope not happening on all of them...I checked some other nef's last night in lightroom by clicking edit in photoshop and checked all the profiles & they were all SRGB.

.......I didn't select it in ACR. I opened my raw in Photoshop, changed the size to 3000. Checked the mode to make sure it was on 8bits, checked the Color Profile & it said SRGB, saved it as a jpg. Embedded into the gallery and the critique forum.

After I embedded into both of those places I went back into lightroom to do my edit on it and that is when I clicked the preset Landscape mode :)
