Hey John,

Goblin Valley is one of my favorite places, it's great to see more photos from there. :)

That's a tough one you tried to pull off with shooting into the sun like that, but it looks like it turned out pretty well. I would back off on the saturation a little bit. But other then that, I like this one.

Interesting take on the hoodoo scenery. I have never been there with a nice set of clouds to play with at sunset like this. Fun scene to play with. I agree with Jim on backing off the saturation a bit.

You have the elements of a great image here. Like my old boss used to say, it's never a problem if the sausage is too long.

It's a wild place, deserving of it's "Out of this World" reputation, and you captured it well. It's one of those spots where it's ok to push the limits, especially with light and clouds like that. Well done.

I appreciate the comments from this group, especially the criticisms/helpful hints. (Believe it or not!) All the members are well intentioned and it is much appreciated. It’s helpful when I have a doubt about something in an image and it’s then echoed by a member’s post.

How else am I going to get better?

Nice image! My wife and I went through there a couple weeks ago, but ended up there in the middle of the day, with Bluebird skies, and I did not get anything at all as dramatic as this. very nice timing on this one!
