Here's the best sunset I've encountered at McWay Falls in Big Sur. We guessed right about where to shoot that night.

Wow - this is one of the best McWay Falls shots I have seen. Great timing on the incoming wave and shutter speed.

Doesn't get much better than this, though it would be nice to see a bit more detail in the trees, (shadows).

Great sunset and composition here, I really like that you caught the surf foam as it was just about touching the falls.
