Yesterday I posted a color shot taken a bit later when the sunrise color was at it's best. Still gray at this point so a B&W conversion was in order. I think the lone kayak fisherman makes it.

The kayaker adds a bit of a minimalist touch to the scene - and adds a sense of scale at the same time. Nice.
I agree with Alan on this one.
Really cool Jim! I love this in B&W. Those clouds create the perfect vignette in B&W. This is one that on my iphone, the kayaker felt like more of a distraction being as it's just a small dot on the smaller screen. But on my desktop with the larger monitor, now the kayaker really comes into play and does add a very cool element to this. That is one great lake you have near you.
Nice image Jim. The clouds and the still water are the draw.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Yes, Jim, I consider myself very lucky to live here. 30 years ago I landed a teaching job in the area but had never been here before. Now I can't imagine living anywhere else.
